Redbridge is my favorite…..New Planet 2nd…I tried Omission but sick every time….I think they have some gluten in it- just below the goverment standards

The best one I have had is Green’s Gluten Free beer, imported from Belgium. I’ve tried all of those, Daura Damm is easily the best with Omission 2nd. Bard’s is very bitter. New planet has tasted watered down recently. Redbridge is just meh budweiser type beer.

Two of the “gluten-free” beers you listed are not gluten-free. Omission and Estrella Daura Damm are gluten-reduced and cannot legally be labeled gluten-free. There is no validated way to test them for gluten content and medical experts do not recommend them for people with celiac disease. Please correct your posting.

New Planet and Green’s are both good (truly) GF beers. My favorite, however, is New Grist by Lake Front Brewery out of WI. It is both gluten free and organic, and is being picked up by many grocery and liquor stores.

Ground Breaker (formerly Harvester Brewing) is excellent, but you have to have it shipped from Portland, OR. Made in a dedicated gluten-free brewery.

Redbridge is #1 by far-sorghum beer with looks and appeal of Coors ole Killians Red.

I’ve only ever tried Bard’s and it is amazing! It tastes just like regular beer! I will definitely have to try the others though too!

While all of these are good gf beers, my favorite of all is called Glutenator and is made by Epic Brewing (epicbrewing.com) in Salt Lake City, UT. It is a beer brewed with sweet potato and molasses which gives it a distinct smooth flavor. Unfortunately I can only find it in UT or in liquor stores that get it shipped from UT.

For some reason, New Grist I get sick on every time I drink it. And yet I am not overly sensitive to start with and can even drink Bud Light without a problem. Maybe I am sensitive to something in New Grist besides Gluten.

I agree with Mike that the best gf beer is Green’s. The ones listed in this article are good if you liked Bud pre-gf. They’re well made for what they are, but to my taste, they aren’t good beer.
