Summertime means extra sunshine, free time and ICE CREAM! There’s nothing better than enjoying a cold, refreshing scoop (or two… okay three) outside on a warm day. Thankfully, there are plenty of gluten-free options out there that are absolutely delicious. Many ice creams are naturally GF when they don’t contain crazy add-ins like cookie dough or brownies. However, it’s important to keep an eye out for cross contamination and sneaky ingredients, like malt and its derivatives, when choosing your treat. Check out the guide below for help navigating some of our favorite gluten-free friendly brands!

Hey Caryl, thanks for the suggestion! We can’t seem to find an official allergen statement on Blue Bell’s website, but did find an unaffiliated blog post listing their GF flavors: https://glutenfreeroundup.wordpress.com/2012/03/09/blue-bell-gluten-free-options/. 🙂
