Gluten-Free Crock-Pot Chicken Cordon Bleu

A coworker of mine told me she made chicken cordon bleu in the crock-pot and when I asked her the ingredients a big light bulb went off in my head-- wow that is naturally gluten-free! The ingredients are as follows:

4 chicken breasts
8 pieces prosciutto
19 slices swiss cheese
salt and pepper to taste

garlic powder
12 oz. cream of mushroom soup (Pacific Natural Foods is the only gf one at our local grocery)
1/3 cup milk
1/3 cup white wine

1 cup Rice

Directions: Start cooking the rice. Cut each chicken breast into half long-ways. Shake salt, pepper, and garlic powder over the cut chicken breasts.  Wrap each chicken breast with two slices of cheese and one slice of prosciutto. Secure each roll with a toothpick. Place the rolls in the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker.  In a small bowl, whisk together the soup, milk and white wine.  Pour this mixture over the chicken breast rolls.  Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hrs or on high for 3-4 hrs. Place the rice at the bottom of the bowel, place a roll or two on the rice and drizzle the sauce over them.
